6. Courses taught: I have taught various statistics courses to both statistics majors and non-major/supportive courses for DMU students. Some of the key courses include Regression Analysis, Operation Research, Design and Analysis of Experiments, Econometrics, Statistical Quality Control, Statistical Computing II, Introduction to Probability Theory, Biometry, and others.

8. Research interest: A passion of mine is advancing cutting-edge statistical methods and applications in public health, epidemiology, agriculture, and related fields. As a researcher, I’m interested in data-driven work involving survival and longitudinal data analysis, time series analysis, epidemiological modeling, genomic data analysis, machine learning, and deep learning.

Research and project information (completed and ongoing): In my role as a leading researcher, I conducted research on access to potable water and waterborne diseases, and a tracer study for DMU’s 2020 graduates. As a co-research project, studies on multidimensional poverty, and the impact of ongoing armed conflict on HIV patients (ongoing) were funded by Debre Markos University.
